Michael's career began in 1986 studying as a dental technician in Schaffhausen and Zurich, Switzerland. After working two years at 'Andreas Deggeller Dentallabor', he pursued his desire of learning more about the world. Landing in Mexico, he worked for 'Estudio de Porcelana Suizo' in Cuernavaca. In 1994, he co-founded and ran "Beer-Cab Dental-Keramik" in Mexico City.
By March 2006, he and his family pursued a life in the United States, where he created 'DentalKERAMIK' in July 2014. In present day 2026, he returns to Estudio de Porcelana Suzio in Cuernavaca, renewing a partnership with Thomas W. Graber.
Over the last 25 years, he has given several subject matter lectures, courses, and master workshops in Mexico, South America, and the United States on topics such as fixed prosthetics, all-ceramic restorations, and implant-supported restorations. Michael Beerli also served on the Board of Directors for the Mexico City Prosthodontic Association (APM).
